An accountant, lawyer, professor and now plain language consultant who enjoys new challenges.

To help businesses simplify their language, which will allow them to uncover and fix underlying problems in their documents and processes.

Naomi understands that overly complex language is often an indication that the ideas behind the writing are not fully developed. By expressing themselves in plain language, companies can reduce confusion, save money and build trust.

Naomi honed her writing skills by working as a capital markets and litigation lawyer. She learned how to express complex ideas in simple terms and saw firsthand the consequences of poorly written documents.

For four years, Naomi taught Singapore law students how to write effectively using plain language principles. She designed her legal writing course to be practical, interactive and fun. For her efforts, she was awarded the SMU Law School Most Outstanding Adjunct Award for 2010/2011.
